This program records what functions were performed allowing the user to revisit the operations that caused the system failure.
To clear the Error Log:
1. From the supervisor master file, click FILE, UTILITIES, ERROR LOG and the Error Log window will be displayed;

2. Verify all error log screens (e.g. General Info, Object Information, etc.);
3. Click Clear Error Log… and the system will ask the user “Permanently remove all records from the error log table?” Click Yes to clear the file;
4. Once the error log is cleared, the user is returned to the main menu.
This feature can be used to Pack and Re-index files in the Auto Xperts system.
1. From the supervisor master file, close down the main menu by clicking on the X in the corner. This should make your screen blank;
2. Click on FILE, UTILITIES and DATABASE UTILITIES and the Manage Tables screen will be displayed;

3. Choose ¤ Pack to permanently remove deleted records from the system;
4. Now choose which tables to pack. You have the option of choosing one by one or to choose all, click Select All;
5. Click OK to process;
6. When processing is complete, the system will tell you to press any key to continue;
7. You will now be at the blank
screen. You must click Menu (
)
from the toolbar to display the main menu.

2. Click on FILE, UTILITIES and DATABASE UTILITIES and the Manage Tables screen will appear;
3. Choose ¤ Pack Memo to reclaim unused space in memo fields;
4. Now choose which tables to pack the memo fields. You have the option of choosing one by one or to choose all, click Select All;
5. Click OK to process;
6. When processing is complete, the system will tell you to press any key to continue;
7. You will now be at the blank
screen. You must click Menu (
)
from the toolbar to display the main menu.

This feature can be used to log out of the Auto Xperts system.
1. From the main menu, click FILE and EXIT;
2. You will now be at the Windows operating system.
